I am Mum to Sam (nearly 7) and Aimee (nearly 5) and I am looking to re-enter the work force in a full or part time permanent role.
Ideally I would love to return to Product Training, I love talking to groups and imparting my vast cosmetic, skincare and nail care knowledge.
As I am currently studying for a Beauty therapy Diploma I would also be interested in working in a salon.
I am a friendly, out-going, happy person. I have organised training sessions throughout New Zealand for groups of 25+ right through from inviting the attendees to the booking the flights, car, hotel, food etc...
I am open to suggestions if you have a role you think I would be suitable for.
I started out my working career in Smith & Caugheys in Queen Street as Revlon Counter Manager. I travelled over-seas and worked at a family owned store for Elizabeth Arden then moved on to Heathrow Duty Free which was a very busy position.
I qualified at a Nail Technician and started up my own business in a hair salon. I was approached by Revlon to apply for the Product Trainer role. I got the job and loved it! Approximately 18 months in I was made redundant when they moved the factory. I applied to McPhersons Consumer goods and was employed again as Product Trainer. I remained with them for 7 years, returning when my first child was 8 months old in a part time role based at home, but still travelling and training. It was only when number two came along that I regretfully gave up the position.
I am currently studying for a Beauty Therapy Diploma as I felt I needed to up skill due to being out of the industry for awhile.
