I am a mature adult with a wealth of knowledge and experience in the visual art, I have broad range and scope in contemporary maori art and modern conceptual art paradigms. As this was where I started as a student, I have been taught by some of the best Maori artists in the country most who are world class leaders. I am cameleon like in my ability to adapt to new styles and techniques, as I was primarily self taught but went through a few instituitions of art learning. I also have a very strong grasp of Western traditions in art and leanings toward engineering and science. New Zealand is virgin territory for the type of person that I am, so therefore I may have to take my knowledge overseas to fully appreciate my abilities.
