My background is in hospitality although I have also worked in film, event management and tourism. I have travelled extensively and lived for many years overseas so incorporate aspects of my travels in both work and my personal life. I ran my own accommodation and catering business in beautiful Raglan - Whaingaroa for eight years which I sold in 2009 to travel throughout Asia.
I am currently studying Media Arts at Waikato Polytechnic and will graduate in 2011 at which time I would like to be involved in film, primarily documentary. I would like part time work whilst studying that reflects my skill level, interests and experience.
I am passionate about the arts, this stunning and unique country in which we live and providing a positive future for my children, Don 16 and Otis 11.

My Background
I worked in Australia, London and the USA as a chef and also travelled on the road with various touring rock bands as their personal chef. My partner and I put together five music festivals, three in Raglan and two in Queenstown, that featured local and international acts.
Between the years of 2000 - 2008 I ran my own business Whale Bay Villas in Raglan which I sold to travel and in 2009 worked as a set designer on a short film.
In 2009 I enrolled to study Media Arts at Wintec majoring in Moving Image.
