I have was employed by the dairy industry, and maintained my interest in thermophile and general microbiology. I was technically a thermophile research microbiologist.
In 2010 I have obtained a General Managers Certificate to manage any licensed premises. I am generally a cheerful person, and prefer to listen rather than talk.
I have joined Toastmasters this year as an excuse to talk from the front of the room, and have benefited immensely. I am essentially an independent person, but enjoy a discussion from the room front. I taught at Wintek for a winter. Things tend to move best when you understand the subject matter.
I have Practicing License (EST8893), Amateur Radio operator (ZL1GEO). My apprenticeship was in the electronics field.
I belong to the Cambridge Radio Club, NZ Microbiology, NZ Biochemistry, NZART, NZIFST, Mountain Safety, Waikato Tramping club, and was a member of SAR.
