    More About Me

    I am a stay-at-home solo mother of a preschooler, looking to get back into the workforce. At the moment am available for morning work, looking to increase to school hours if possible when my son starts school next year.
    My skills lie in administration. I have great attention to detail, and organisational skills. I enjoy learning on the job, and love meeting and working with people and liaising with clients. I pick up computer programs and new systems with ease and like to streamline systems to make my work more efficient and manage my time optimally. I follow instructions well and show initiative.

    My Background

    I started off in Graphic Design.. my first job out of school was in typesetting, then moved on to Photoshop work and Mac operating within the same company. After being made redundant, and temping for a year or so, found my new niche in the office, doing frontline reception and general office duties, and eventually settling in a law firm permanently. I picked up any new computer programs quickly and with ease. At Dominion Law my duties included reception, general office management, legal secretary duties, PA to the director, accounts clerk work (MYOB) and payroll (Ace Payroll).  This is where I left off when i started motherhood, and am now excited to get back into the workforce. I have so far had one 6-month temp contract at a marketing firm as an administration assistant which finished just before christmas.

    The most important thing for me is a happy work environment. I work best in a sole charge position. I like to have full focus on my work. In this way I work well autonomously, however I also enjoy working as part of a small team. I enjoy working in a relaxed, casual environment.
