    More About Me

    I'm in my first year of my BA at Massey University, Albany campus in February 2009. I plan to double major in English and Business psychology. I have experience in administration as well as the retail and hospitality industries. I pick up systems quickly and am a hard worker. I am very much task orientated and enjoy the gratification that comes from delivering work of a consistently high standard.

    My Background

    I worked for a local catering company for three years while I was finishing high school. On top of that I also worked in a book shop as a retail assistant during my holidays to make extra money. During 2008 I took a gap year between high school and university. During this year I worked as a receptionist for the Australian Corporate Head Office and Sydney Branch of Kelly services, a world renowed recruitment agency. After coming home I worked as an office assistant for an occupational therapy company in Whangaparaoa.

    I am very task orientated and have developed time management skills that allow me to work through tasks in order of highest priority. I like to complete one task before I start on the next one, however, I can also multi-task when situations require it.

    I pride myself in being somewhat of a chameleon - I can pick up new skills very quickly and use the skills I already possess to complete a wide range of roles. I find that my skills and experience in administration, retail and hospitality coupled with my initiative, common sense and hard working attitude allow me to quickly and competently adapt to the roles that come my way.
