My dream job would involve use of my Japanese language skills, my legal qualifications, my experience in banking and be related to international trade/business. My Background
I have spent the last 6 months in a legal advisory role with a prominent public service regulator. During this time I worked with cartel enforcement subject matter including analysing evidence; a fundamental process for litigation, and I was part of a team which developed processes for litigation management.
Prior to this I was with the same organisation for 18 months and developed expertise in researching and analysing various pieces of legislation and applying this to practical situations. My analysis of each case or fact situation would then be used by Branch Managers to decide if any enforcement action should be taken. As a result I have significant knowledge of fair trading legislation, specifically misleading behaviour and I have a great deal of experience working with credit and finance legislation including assessing credit contracts. My work with credit and finance at a state regulator was complemented by my 5 years previous experience in banking.
