I have a wealth of work experience as well as going through motherhood and sacrificing my career to bring up my girls.
I am organized, conscientious, enthusiastic . I am very much a people person.
I worked in travel for a year before my first foray overseas so am also competent regarding travel etc.
My career as a media planner and buyer started at Colenso in 1975. With the advent of a third channel, I worked for 5 years through the application process and hearings travelling the country in a small plane doing shareholder drives, making kids videos to generate funds; I was wardrobe lady, actor, vision switcher, post production, catering - you name it.
Pre Xmas, I worked part time for Anabel Langbein invoicing internet sales for her books,& reconciling the invoices with the internet banking, as well as my Stamp Zone job, teaching classes in cardmaking. I am a fast learner, and can turn my hand to most anything.
I am married with two daughters aged 21 and 17 years. My recent background is spelled out more fully in my CV.
My main career has been in advertising, and the media, but I have also worked for a small publishing company and done a number of part time jobs, since the girls started school.
I am now ready to start a new career path so I can feel fullfilled as a person - I need this for myself, now I'm done with raising my girls I have to have a challenge in my life.

I'm proud of my girls, - of course! I'm proud of my ability to learn new things, and fit in with others. I consider myself and others as all part of a team, rather than them and us! Im proud that people feel they can confide in me, and search me out for advice. I think I'm practical and sensible, and I'm proud of the fact that I like to fully understand all the roles that make up a company, and not just my little part of it. Knowing what others do and how they do it helps others understand why what they do is done that way - why deadlines are requried etc...
The Way I Work

I think the most imortant thing about the way I work is with an open door. I like to be part of a team, not APART from the team. Every person has an important role and should be valued.
I Specialise In
The key to my success is probably that I'm very organised. I am used to working to deadlines and also having to cancel things BY a certain deadline, so of necessity I've had to be very methodical - I'm also a Capricorn so we're really good at putting things in boxes ! We're analytical, organized, loyal and ambitious ! And I'm a true Capricorn!! Did I mention determined?? My husband prefers the term determined. - don't really get that!!!

I don't believe it's necessary to add my birthdate as I believe it's prejudicial to my application, and you need to meet me to make an informed decision, so I'm not going to complete it.
Besides - it's also TOTALLY irrelevant. Suffice it to say, I'm over 21. (well over)
But look, I can spell and I can use correct grammar - that's putting me in a certain age group already!!
